I have XP home edition, Lately I am receiving a Windows
virtual memory is to low.

How can I correct this?

I am running 256K with 40 Meg Hard Drive with 30 Meg left
on the hard disk. (Pentium 111 Machine).

I do not run any games on this machine.

Do I need more ram?

Three months ago I loaded McAfee SpanKiller, FireWall, and
VirusScan.

You need to adjust your virtual memory settings. Go to---
-start---control panel---performance and maintanance--
then click the systems icon---then click the advance tab
on top---then click the performance settings button---
then click the advance tab on that--then under Virtual
memory click the change button---HERE'S WHERE YOU GOT
CHOICES,YOU PROBABLY HAVE CUSTOM SIZE 'BOUT 384'ISH,YOU
CAN CHANGE YOUR MAX SIZE HIGHER,LIKE 500 OR 600 MB.---the
best thing to do is click button next to system managed
size---then click SET button---OK,OK,OK---restart your
computer, and if you choose system managed size, you'll not
see the virtual warning again.I had that problem year and
a half ago changed it haven't had that prolem since. GOOD
LUCK.
