Video Problems at startup

My laptop's screen is showing no video feedback after I turn it on. It
doesn't boot, none of the indicator lights come on except for the "power on"
light. Here's my laptop model. Basically it doesn't start at all and the
screen just stays blank. I don't know what caused the problem.

Sony VAIO PCG-K23
 
Plug in the external power, and remove the battery to try booting the
system.
