Video effects and transitions

I have WMM 2.1 (SP2), but can find only two (2) video-effects and zero (0)
transitions. How is this possible and what can I do about it? Please help me.
 
Can you download and re-nstall the full network install of SP2 over the
existing installation? This procedure has been previosuly reported to cure
the "effects and transitions missing syndrome".
