user auto logon

i only have one user account (admin) on the computer, each time after
restart, it automatically logs on and shows desktop screen. recently i
installed a few windows updates. now each time i start up the computer, it
stops on the screen that shows the user icon, i have to click on the icon to
continue. how do i bypass this?

If one of the update were net.framework go and delete the net.framework
user.

Goto Start, Run and type "control userpasswords2"
Then under the users tab, uncheck Users must enter a username/pass to use
this computer"
Then press ok and Enter your username/password

Alternatively, you can use TweakUI for Windows XP to do this.
