USB2 Device notification

I am using a CCD camera and I purchased a 16ft usb cable that is usb2.o
enhanced. when I plug it in it telles me to select a 2.0 port. My computer is
less than six months old and I checked with dell to make sure it is 2.0
compatable. Why is this notice coming up. I am supposed to be able to connect
5 of these 16ft cable together with no problem, I am only using one.

I don't understand why the notice is coming up. I never has before.

If I don't use the cable I don't have the problem. but when I use it I have
the problem.

In order to have USB 2.0 working, you need:

1) Check in the BIOS to see if the USB 2.0 functions are active.

2) Be running at least Service Pack 1 (SP1)

3) Running up to date motherboard chipset drivers

4) Have some type of "enhanced" USB controller adapter listed in Device
Manager.
