If your USB ports are enabled (this is done in the BIOS), anythin
plugged in will be recognised automatically, initially as an unknow
device and then, when you've installed the drivers the system wil
recognise the item each time you attach it.
If nothing happens then it's a cse of USB ports not enabled; if they'r
front ports, they may not be connected; or there's a problem with th
hardware you're trying to attach
USB devices require that drivers and software are loaded before connecting
to USB ports.. installation software will prompt at the point where the
device should be connected..
