usb 2.0 prob

Problem...
The Generic USB Hub is a HI-SPEED USB device and will
function at reduced speed when plugged into a non-HI-
SPEED port.
I've had this problem with xpsp1 and xpsp2. It will give
me a list of usb2.0 ports to use, but everyport I try
gives me the same error message. Any ideas?

Hello,

Do you get the same error when all devices are USB 1.1 or if they are all
USB 2.0, it might not be able to work at both speeds at the same time
(although I don't see why not) Also check with your motherboard manufacturer
/ OEM to make sure that you are indeed plugging into a 2.0 slot.
