Can I upgrade from OEM XP Home Edition to XP Home Edition upgrade or do I
have to buy the full version?

Hi, There would be no reason to try and upgrade an OEM install of XP Home to
a retail copy of XP Home. Now if you mean XP Pro a retail copy would do
just fine.
 
Don, don't know why you are asking this question but keep in mind that there
is no difference in the software you get between the upgrade, OEM or full
version of XP Home.

If you have a generic OEM copy, it is identical to the retail
copy. There's no need to do this.
