Upgrade Problems

Upgraded to windows xp home from windows 98 today with a
package purchased from BESTBUY 2 weeks ago . Noteworthy
problems so far:

1)caught msblast virus as soon as I went on-line. I've
since upgraded all 15 mb of critical updates. I've
deleted msblast everywhere but it still shows up in
registry. This version of xp was bought in the last two
weeks. Why hasn't msft fixed this problem yet? THIS IS
2004!!! I

2)help and support doesn't respond at all -click and
nothing happens

3)msinfo32 program doesn't respond at all -click and
nothing happens

Not MS problem - it's *YOURS*. Is it MS's problem you can't be bothered to
install a firewall?! Is it MS's problem you cannot be bothered to do a
little research before installation?!
