VERY ANNOYING! PLESE HELP?
I must have clicked a link by accident while in IE.
Somehow, the site I was linked to automatically installed
a toolbar that I don't want, and reset my default home
page to their page. I've fixed the home page problem, but
I've tried getting rid of the toolbar by right clicking
the toolbar and unchecking it, and it goes away
temporarily, but when I close my bowser and reopen it,
the toolbar is back. How can I permanently eliminate this
toolbar. I've also checked to see if there were any
programs installed under Add/Remove Programs, and there
doesn't appear to be anything to could be it.

Please help

Try adding the statement " -nohome" (without quotes) after iexplorer.exe in
your shortcut path. It should be preceded by a space. E.g.; "C:\Program
Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer" -nohome

This may hide the problem, or it may fix it. You MAY be able to remove the
" -nohome" statement later without the problem recurring.

Please provide more information about the menu that was added. For example,
if it is "I-Lookup", there are certain procedures that must be followed to
rid your self of the problem.

Hi Paul,

Use Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) to scan for spyware. * Update the pattern
file first, using "WebUpdate" feature *

To remove the Toolbar: Use ToolbarCop:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/utils/ToolbarCop.exe
