A new user!! When I turn on my machine, i don't get the pretty autumn
picture I selected, but I get an icon that is made up of yellow, black and
blue squares in the shape of an oval (a bigger oval is on top) with a smaller
oval on the bottom. There are two black large letter t's in the top oval -
It's creepy! I don't know how to get it off my desktop and get the autumn
scene back. I have tried changing it again to autumn but still the yucky icon
prevails - any help out there? thanks

Kim,
Go to the control panel. Select "display" and click the "desktop" tab and
uncheck "active x desktop"

Hi Fred - I went to control panel - there is no display as such only
appearance and themes - I can't find the uncheck active x desktop sentence
under the desktop tab - am I looking in the wrong place? thanks for taking
the time to help - Kim
