I installed webroot spysweeper trial version some time ago and I unistalled
it. I tried to install the trial version again but it tells me that my trial
period has expired. How can I uninstall it completely so that I can install
the trial version again?

Bernie;
Manufacturers generally feel one trial period is enough.
You should contact the manufacturer if you need more time or buy the
product.

Hi,

Once trial software is installed on a computer, additional checks are
installed to ensure that the software will work in the trial period.

The only way to reinstall a trial software on a computer which has it
already installed is to go for a format.

While I do not agree with people "trying" software past the point it was
ment to be used.

This kind of info is waaay off base.
You do not need to format a hard drive to solve problems.

Someplace on the OP's system is a registry key or file placed on the hard
drive that the software looks for to tell if it's been used before or past a
preset date.

If you wish to get more time for your "trial" I would email the author and
ask how you can remove the key or file and start a new trial.

And if you liked it enough to use a 2nd time you might even want to support
the author and buy it.

You need to purchase it if you like it after trying it. That is why it is
called a trial version.
