If you're having trouble finding Electronic Components, here's a link to a list of some of the major UK suppliers.

If you run into an obstacle because you're not 'Trade' simply tell them you're a 'Sole Trader' you have your own business and operate from home. That should suffice :D

Two of the big names that will try to tell you that you need a trade account, but if you 'argue' enough (or as above, say you are a sole trader) then you can usually get served.

When I was at uni, RS gave a 10% student discount and happily served me at their counter on the basis that I said I was a student at the nearby uni in the electronics department.

Cheers Iain, I'll have to ask about that student discount! Pitty the Manchester counter is far out of the way for me :(
