How can I turn off the "click" sound when you click a
link or the browser refreshes? It's pretty annoying if
you are listening to anything and it intrudes.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response, but I'm only intrersted in
turning off the sound (click) that is made when a window
refreshes and I don't seem to be able to find that
specific sound ... :)

Do oyu know which one it is

Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there a wayt o turn off the browser refresh click
without turning off the mouse click?

Sorry if this was a double post.

Under the Windows Explorer section, the sound event "Start Navigation"
plays the sound when you click on a link (i.e., the mouse click you hear
which is the start.wav file). The "Complete Navigation" event plays a
sound file, if selected, when the window gets opened or changed after
clicking a link.

SOUNDS, scroll down to Windows Explorer, then select Start
Navigation. START.WAV should show up in the drop-down
menu. That's the one I have clicking on me all the time.
Go to top of the list that shows START.WAV to select
(None). Hope that cleared it up.
