When I load internet Explore my Virus Scan detect and delete a virus called
Downloader-VA, but it does it every time I restar the browser. I cheked for
virus, and my computer is clean, run spybot, Microsoft Antispyware and
nothing. But it keeps poping up when I used the ie, I had to download
Netscape to be able to use a browser because my ie stopped responding all
the time. Any ideas how to get rid of this Trojan Downloader-VA. my XP is
now loading very slow. It takes like 3 o 5 minutes to load the explore after
I login.

Trying multiple AV's are always a good idea, you can maybe try Norton,
Panda and Trend Micro's online scan.

Or download AVG 7 Personal Edition for free, I remember removing
Downloader-VA on a customer's pc using AVG if I recall correctly?

Its also a good idea switching system restore off before doing a scan,
else it might restore the virus, and doing a scan in safe mode is also
advisable.

Hello,

my solution:
www.sysinternals.com, download ntfilmon
start this utility and start IE.
Analyse the logs for unusual files (DLL and SYS)
I found two files: echbnnca.dll and qzlvwnmw.dll

Rename them *.old and restart OS and see if symptoms are gone.

Good luck!
