Puter says trojanhorse found.I run virus scanner and
remove it. Still get screen saying trojan found. Says
this evry few minutes. Any way to stop this?

Please supply the name and location of the file, and we
can help remove it.Removing the trojan from the O.S. is
the only way to stop the alerts,I am afraid. It may be
trapped in a system restore point. In any case, system
restore should be turned off before attempting to remove
malware:

If you haven't done so already, enable the XP firewall,if
you don't have a third party one installed:

An online virus scan may do the trick for you:

Use regedit to delete the offending key. Right-click "My Computer", got to "Properties" then the "System Restore" tab, check the "turn off system restore box" and reboot. Run your a/v software followed by an anti-adware app (SpyBot, Ad-Aware). This should take care of you. Don't forget to uncheck the "turn off system restore" box.

My restore feature has disappeared. So I keep getting the trojans back because I can't turn off the restore command. Is there another way to turn it off or to delete the trojan out of the restore directory? I am running Windows XP. Thanks
