Trendmicro, Pest Patrol, ad-aware all have goot databases too.
I have found trends database fairly clear on most things and they
have been rated one of the better AV lately. Pest Patrol has an
exhaustive DB on all kinds of malware of all types some of which
crosses over to the virii/worm side because of the nature of malware.
There online scan tool is great for finding these things also and
then can be removed manually with looking at the docs. I have had a
couple of false positives but have had more things found than not.
But they have been bought by CA and changes are already starting to
happen, lets hope this great resource doesn't go away. Also lavasoft
has a surprisingly growing database of information out there on most
of this stuff and a very active user forum to help combat this tital
wave of crudware.
