Tmp.edb will not backup

Hi... I'm having an issue with my Veritas backup program. It seems to have
a problem backing up the file "tmp.edb" because it is currently in use by
another user/application. The backup takes place long after everyone in the
office has gone home and I have left explicit instructions to make sure you
log off your machine before heading home.

Does anyone know why this file will not back up? I've tried searching
Veritas' knowledge base but I think their search engine is retarded. Any
help would be much appreciated, thanks.

I believe that file is created/used by Exchange Server.
