I am having a problem with a networked version of XP Professional. Whenever
I put a thumbdrive into the usb port the computer reboots. This happens with
any thumbdrive!

Not sure what the problem is, if you can help I would greatly appreciate it!!

P.S. I have already set the security policies to allow me to load and unload
drivers.

Does this happen on all the usb ports or just the one?

Do any usb devices work on your machine (aside from thumb drives)? If
not, then see about upgrading your motherboard drivers. Try a usb pci
card. ISTR a post recently about someone having trouble with flash
drives who was running ZoneAlarm. You might try doing a search on
Google for "flash drives + ZoneAlarm" and/or "usb drives + ZoneAlarm"
and see if anything pops up.

Good luck,
