The general is gone in internet options NEED HELP PLEASE

THE START UP PAGE HAS TAKING OVER AND THE GENERAL IS GONE
IT WAS THERE NOW GONE PLEASE HELP WHAT TO DO TO FIX

THE SITE THAT DID IT WAS SEARCH V .COM
 
Please do not post in capitals. They are hard to read and you may get
ignored.

I tried searchv.com and had no problems so perhaps you have poor
security?

Try this for the General tab:

Start-Run-Regedit

There could be more than one "GeneralTab" value.
Try these keys first and then search for GeneralTab (no space)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

Remove "GeneralTab" if present.
