Terminal Services



Hi All,

I have been asked by one of my customers whether or not it is possible to
set a time limit for the ammount of time a remote desktop connection to a
windows 2000 server stays open if their is a communication error between
client and server.

The customer accesses their main sites via VPN over a leased line. They have
been having intermittent issues with the line and it keeps dropping their RDP
sessions. As far as I'm aware once a comms error occurrs the RDP session will
disconnect, pending either a reconnect or a timeout, and wil not initiate a
re-connect itself. However I thought I'd check first.....

Any suggestions on this would be most helpful. Ta!
