I created a TCP/IP port to go to the IP address of a network printer.
However, I accidently specified the wrong brand and model of printer. How do
I delete that port and start over to 'recreate' the port with both the
correct IP address and brand and model of printer? Thanks!

delete the printer from the machne and recreate it properly..cant fix the
existing one

Sure you can by doing a driver update. But of course your solution would
work, too.

Cheers,

1) Start, Printers & Faxes
2) right-Click on the printer you want to delte;
3) Properties,
4) Ports,
5) Select the port from the list
6) DELETE PORT

I am sure you can now work out how to create a new port.
