When you right click on your taskbar and go to properties, there is a few
options for your taskbar appearance. I have the one turned on called: "Group
similar taskbar buttons" but when I open 3 or 4 diferent Internet Explorer
Windows it won't group them. I have to open say 10 or 11 of the browser
windows. I figure this is either a problem with something else on my computer
or I can somehow set the number in the registry or some other place. Can
somebody help me?

"Group similar taskbar buttons" means the following:

1. If the taskbar is NOT overcrowded(few items), this feature will keep
similar windows "adjacent". So if you open two Internet explorer and two
notepad windows, the two IEs will be adjacent(grouped) and same with
notepad, irrespective of the order in which they are opened.

2. If taskbar is overcrowded(9 items on my computer taskbar), it will merge
all the similar windows in the taskbar.

This is not a problem. I am not aware of any registry setting to change the
number of taskbar items at which windows will merged similar items on the
taskbar.
