task scheduler




When you add a task to the task scheduler you are asked which
account/password to use to perform the task. I want to use this to perform
tasks which require administrator privileges without actually being logged
on as an administrator. Just a task which does the action for you.

However, when I schedule a task wuith the right account and password the
task is not performed unless I am logged on as the user used in the task
schedule. How can I make XP to perform a task no matter how is logged on, or
even when no one is logged on at all?

I am using a Windows 2000 server (active directory) and XP Professional
