Can anyone provide a clue about how to fix Task Manager on my WinXP
Home V2002 with SP1? It used to work correctly, but now Task Manager
only displays the Network graph; there are no other tabs (like
Processes, Performance, Users, ...) nor any pull down menus displayed.

I suspect a registry issue or malware initiated changes.

Open Task Manager and double-click anywhere on the top Window border.
Somehow, you managed to convert Task Manager to run in "Tiny Footprint Mode".

You're running Task Manager in small footprint mode,
just double click on the borders.

Good luck

Hi

Try double-clicking the edge of TM.

I should have searched the messages in this newsgroup before posting.

Many thanks.

Is this documented Task Manager behavior?

Thank you for your rapid reply. That was indeed the source of the
problem.

Is Tiny Footprint Mode documented anywhere else than in the Knowledge
Base? Why didn't MS just put an entry under the Options or View
pulldown menu?

Is Tiny Footprint Mode a feature of a bug? :-)
