Hello All,

I don't know what happened, but when I try to get to the Task Manager, I get
a window without the "tabs" or anything; only a box showing what's now
running. At the bottom of the window are three command buttons: end task,
switch to, and new task. The normal minimize-restore-close buttons aren't
even there. I have to press Escape to exit.

Did I break something, or is this the result of a virus or spyware?

Many thanks,
--Anita

Open Task Manager and double-click on its uppermost window border.

Greetings --

Are you running Task Manager in "Small Footprint Mode?" Simply
double-click anywhere along the top or side borders to return to a
normal view. Alternatively, pressing <Ctrl>+<Tab> will allow you to
cycle between the various displays, and <Alt>+<F4> will close it.
