Upon opening my profile, a System 32 window opens. This
window is similar to the kind of window you get when you
click Start|Explore or Start|Control Panel. It states
that these are hidden files that should not be changed.

My Windows desktop continues to load normally. I simply
close the System 32 window and go on my merry way.

Why does this window suddenly appear on startup? How can
I get rid of this problem?

Thanks!

Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and scroll down
to Item No. 260. In the right column, click on "System32 Folder Opens
Upon Boot". Download this repair file and then run the repair.
