When I attempted to synchronize my Palm Pilot with
Microsoft Works, I made the Microsoft Calendar and
Address Book in "Works" the default program. However,
now when I hit the synchronize button on my Palm Pilot
when it is in the cradle, my Palm Pilot picks up all the
information in the Microsoft Address Book as a new item
each time I synchonize - resulting in duplication of
information in my Palm Pilot. Any suggestions on how to
correct this problem, or undo Microsoft as the default
program? Many thanks for any help that you can give!

This is better posted to com.sys.palmtops.pilot. However, your
sychronization setting for this conduit should be set to "synchronize
files". You have it set to "desktop overwrites handheld". Right click
the HotSynch Manager in the Task Bar. Select "Custom...". Select the
condiut from the list and make the change in synchronization settings.
