Windows XP Stupid annoying little backwards P sign...!! Help me please...

Hi all... Probably a REALLLLLLLY easy problem to fix, i should know how, iv'e done it in ICT but forgotten.

How can i get rid of the stupid little annoying symbols? See the screenshot.

I can't remember how to turn those off, but if all else fails - just give windows a restart and it should go back to normal ;)

There is a button in word that turns it on / off - its just symbols for pagebreaks, line breaks etc... I can't remember either though :(

I really wanted to answer that one, cos I knew the answer!!

It's handy to use when you're checking the formatting of a document.

restarting dosent help - its been there a month!

Thanks all - will try now.

We actually used these things in an ICT project in word... but couldnt fix it in outlook...

You see the little thing on the end? (it is orange because i clicked it)

It is there on mine because it cannot fit on the bar.

I dont have the sign when you click that button - are you in outlook 2003??

Got It

Open a new email message, and click Tools -> CUstomise. and select "Standerd" and then disable it like i showed earlier
