Folks:

I am using IE6 on a win XP SP2 platform. This browser has the ability to
store ONE default web site which gets opened automatically when the browser
is launched. Just wondering if there is some way (registry tweak, maybe )
to store MULTIPLE "default" sites that are displayed (sequentially) one
after the other ?

Thanks,
John.

Nope. Consider looking at some of the IE shells that support tabbed
browsing. The have the ability to use groups. You can then open all the
sites in a group at startup. I use Avant and have been quite happy with it.
It's free and available here: <http://www.avantbrowser.com/>

I would be surprised if you found a good answer. Unfortunately, Microsoft
has stalled development on IE. It might be 2006 before we see any real
improvements.

An alternative browser, Avant, has that feature. Plus, it has several
features I have really enjoyed such as tabbed browsing.
It is a free "shell" for IE. It can be found at: www.avantbrowser.com

If you want to stick with IE, I have an idea that might do what you want.
Check out Visual Basic Scripting (VBS). You can make a script that would
open several web pages in your default browser.
Not sure on the details, but I think there is a newsgroup for VBS around
somewhere...
