I have several email accounts in MS Outlook 2003 and with one, I do not want
to have any email messages downloaded off of the server. I use a software
program called Groupmail running in windows that uses my Pop3 account for
email coming back to Groupmail, therefore I want to have all messages for
Groupmail be returned to Groupmail and not be downloaded into MS Outlook.
I have tried Send/receive options and rules but can not find anything to do
it.
Thanks
Cas

Tools menu > Options > Mail Setup tab > Send/Receive button. Click on
the Group Name in the box on top of the screen, click the Edit button
and choose to not have that account receive mail.

Are all these messages in the same POP3 mailbox? If so, the ways around that
are:
- use separate POP3 mailboxes
- download just the headers and manually choose the messages you want to
use.

Yes, They are in 1 POP3 mail box. I have a seperate mailbox for each
differnet email address. From the 1 that goes to Groupmail, I never want to
downlad anything from it into my Outlook inbox. I want Groupmail, a seperate
program to process those emails. I want this to be automatically done, which
it should, if I can tell the Pop3 not to download anything associated with
the Groupmail email ID. So downloading the headers and then manually selected
would not be the most productive option.
