STOP 24: Corrup ntfs.sys

System will not boot into anything no matter what I try. Tried the
following and all resorted in the STOP 0x00000024 NTFS.sys Error.

Safe Mode
Safe Mode w/ Networking
Safe Mode w/Command Prompt
Last Known Good
Boot to XP install CD: Repair
Boot to XP install CD: Install

What else can I do?

If you have a 'proper' XP CD, Set the BIOS to boot CD before Hard Disk.
Boot the XP CD and, instead of Setup, take the immediate R for Repair.
Assume any password requested is blank, and TAB over.

Use, assuming the CD is seen as letter D:
Copy D:\i386\ntfs.sys C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ntfs.sys

Not to be sure, of course, that there aren't other files damaged too
