Windows XP (5.1.2600) Service Pack 2.

When I turn my laptop on, the normal login screen appears, but with the
error message below. It gives me the option to Close or Debug, both of which
simply close the error window. The message appears twice and then opens the
logon screen as if nothing happened.

The instruction at "0x0012e7b0" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "written".

At the logon screen, I am told the security log is full and the admin needs
to logon to fix the problem. Luckily I'm an admin. I've cleared the
security log and that problem has gone away for now, but I still receive this.

I am seeing the same issue on a friend who has the same laptop with the same
OS and service pack (good ol' service packs).

Is this a known bug with service pack two? I've been unsuccesful at finding
any information on this and it's beginning to worry me. Thank you.
