SP2 popupblocker

Had a friends computer loaded with spyware and malware, installed
AdawarePersonal and SP2 to get rid of and to block popups. SP2 installed but
the popupblocker is not working, any suggestions??? thanks
 
Check the settings in IE...Tools>PopupBlocker>PopupBlockerSettings see if
everything looks ok in there.
