Sp2 Hotfix

When i go onto add or remove programs i see something on
the list called "Windows Xp Hotfix (SP2)Q819696" Can
somone tell me what this is.

That is an update you downloaded to your computer.
If you do not have SP-2, there should be many similar updates.

that would be the latest and 'greatest service pack to

WinXP. You had autoupdates on and were so updated. If it
came back up likely everything is fine but I'd check my
setting and services to be sure everything is as you
expect it...the Firewall is NOW active by default and was
turned on in your existing config regardless of what you
have set up, and auto-updates and bits services are alsio
now updated, and active...You should NOT be running with
an administrator level account, things like this would not
happen to you if you were running as a user/power user

No it cant be becuase i have there is no firewall and

there is no pop up blockers....
