Whenever the install process gets to this file it hangs and won't let me past
this point. It only deletes everything installed up to that point...please
HELP. I've had the W32/sdbot.worm.gen but my Mcafee subscription says that I
have eliminated it.

I have those installed but after the virus attack I deleted restore points
and a multitude of other things. I need to see if those programs are still
active. I still don't understand why it hangs on the same file everytime????
What is this file?

Also run antispyware programs like SpyBot Search and Destroy and AdAware.

The listings for this place it in the dll cache and identify it as a
Microsoft file relating to unicode. Other web sites associate it with
Microsoft Chinese keyboard files. Go figure.

I have the same problem when installing SP2 on my Home Edition XP. SP2
was downloaded from the Microsoft website and automatically installed.
The install utility says it cannot copy unicdime.ime, asks me to choose
another location, repeats the error, and then finally rolls back the
installation when cancel is selected. I have located and copied the
file to the dllcache directory myself, but that did not impress the
installation utility.

Did you ever find a solution?
