a few weeks ago, I was listening to some music on my computer and all was fine.
Then a few days later NO SOUND AT ALL...I can hear a faint whisper coming
out of my jbl speakers..but thats it. I have tried unplugging and plugging
them back in, I went to the control panel and made sure nothing was muted
inadvertently. As far as I can tell...everything is set correctly. I use
headphones someimes...but I don't get what happened? Any help or suggestions
would be much appreciated!!!

Right click my Computer and select Manage
Under Services and Applications select Services
Scroll down to Windows Audio and make sure it is set to AUTOMATIC

Cheryl, you may want to check back in Control Panel>Sound and Audio
Devices>Volume-Speaker Settings>Advanced>Make sure that
Desktop Stereo Speakers shows up in Speaker Setup window. You may have
Stereo Headphones selected.
