sound on web browser

I'm running pp 2000 and frontpage 2003. I've managed to get the PPS into the
website and create the link, but in the preview there is no sound (an
imbedded .wav file). Otherwise, everything seems to work okay. The sound file
is there in the folder list, and the pps works great on the pc, and emails
fine, it's the web I'm after.

Thanks in advance, Graeme.

Is the sound embedded in the PPT or linked from it?

If you temporarily rename the sound file then play the presentation on your own
PC, does the sound still work? If not, it's linked, not embedded; you may not
be able to get it to work off the web.

Have a look here:

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or email a
presentation

And keep in mind that when I visit your site and click the PPS link, the PPS
gets downloaded to my PC and played from there; nothing forces linked files to
download to the same folder, though. That's why an embedded sound would work
better for you (but it'll mean bigger files, so be sure to let users know that
it may take longer to download ... patience)
