sound card???

I have a Dell Dimension 4500 w/ Windows XP as the
operating system and Harmon Kardon speakers. I have tried
to run some older games and when going through the setup
(in DOS), it asks me for three things under sound, which
are:

1)Sound card Address
2)IRQ channel
3)DMA channel

I have tried using the compatability option to no avail.
How do I obtain this info to make the sound work?

 

[Completely Lost]

This information is usually sound card specific depending on the mfr of your
sound card.

However, the defaults are usually:

A=220
IRQ=5
DMA=1
