slow keyboard

When daughter is logged on the keyboard response is slow.
Must hold down key for 10 seconds. Happens in all progs.
Checked Accesibilty Options, ok. No other user has this
problem

Have you checked the "Keyboard" applet in Control Panel? There is a delay
time mentioned in there. If not that, maybe there is a Trojan that is
logging keystrokes? Try booting into Safe mode, or XP's equivelant and
trying the keys then.
