SLOW CLICKING AND WINDOW LOADING

I'm no PRO...my pc has ran great; now out of the blue, when I click on
anything, it takes forever for it to react; when typing now, I have to stop
to let the text finish loading on my document; whether surfing or not, all
windows open slowly and some not at all. PLEASE! Anybody got any ideas?? I
have recently loaded the SP2 and updated my Norton; hard drives in good
shape; defrag's updated...FRUSTRATED AND CONFUSED! Any ideas on what to look
for and how to do it??? Thanks ANYBODY!
