slide show doesn 't work

Hello all,

I have a problem with Powerpoint XP SP3, running on a Windows XP SP2.
Whenever I try to run my presentation as a slide show (*.pps) he does launch
the slide show (button appears on the Task bar) but I can 't see anything.
When I launch it within Powerpoint itself, it does work but then you don 't
have the entire screen filled of course.
Any idea what might be going wrong ?

Go to Slide Show > Set Up Show and set it to display on your Primary monitor.
It sounds like you have it set to display on a monitor that isn't currently
connected.

I tried that, but the option "set up show" is grayed out :-(

Have you opened a "Read Only" file? Your presentation file should be open when
you do this. Go to File > Open and locate the file. Then set the display and
press F5 to view the show.
