I was trying to get a header for all slides in a presentation.

I saw footer - it's there and very easy to do. But I could not find any way
to make a header for SLIDES. It just wasn't there...

Tried view header/footer.I tried master layout and all the controls there
but there seems no way to get a header.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Lee

Frisky,
The header is for the notes pages. If you click on the second tab in the
dialog (View - headers and footers - notes tab you will see the box for the
header, which will of course only be shown in the notes page view.
If you want a header in the ordinary slides, go to View - Master - Slide
master - drag the footer placeholder box to the top of the master. Or make a
textbox using the drawing toolbar, type your text in it and drag it to the
top of the master. As you put it in the master it will appear on every
slide.
