Simple question on dotfuscator

Hello

I'm pretty new to dotNet and am concerned that the code may not be secure.

I understand we can use dotfuscator to confuse decompilers but am I correct
in assuming that an SQL strings etc. used for ADO, or even such things as
simple message box headings etc. etc. etc. would have to be left in tact?

TIA
