Hi, Can't seem to find 1 person with my problem. I just got dsl - yahoo.
Computer keeps rebooting up after every shut down. If I disconnect the home
portal it shuts down fine. Tech support has taken two weeks and hours of my
time uninstalling software and can't figure it out. You have helped me
before, any suggestions would be very appreciated. Ready to go back to aol
dial up!!

See if this helps you, you might some error codes when powering down the PC
and this could help to identify the problem. You are probably having some
sort of failure so the system will restart itself. To disable this feature,
right-click on My Computer and choose Properties. Then select Advance, then
click on Startup and Recovery options. Uncheck the Automatically Restart.

When you power down next, a blue screen may show up with error codes. Write
these codes down and post the results in the following newsgroup.
