Hey Everyone! Was just wondering if someone could
explain the option of shtick keys(like pressing shift 5
times activates these keys - and therefore inactivates
the second option on the top number keys and any key with
2 functions to it) to me on windows xp home edition. Is
this an actual option or something of viral origin?

It's one of the Accessibility features of XP which, strangely, is
enabled by default.

To disable Sticky Keys (and other similar features):

Control Panel->Accessibility Options and uncheck all the boxes on the
Keyboard tab, then click each of the Settings buttons and uncheck "Use
Shortcut" on each of the dialogues that appears.
