Service Pack 2 is messing up my computer...

the fact that you had the antivirus running during the
service pack install is why you are having the problem.

Antivirus = PROTECTS the OS from being changed or modified.

Servicepack = changes and modifies the OS.

even if you uninstall SP2, your operating will still be
damaged.

If(?) the AV protects the OS from being changed - and I doubt VERY much it
does since that's NOT it's purpose - why in Hexx doesn't the upgrade disable
it before attempting to install itself?
