Search Utility

Whenever I try to open a folder, the search utility opens
in a new folder, but not the folder I was trying to open.
It just recently started doing this and I don't know why.
I'm sure there is a way to shut the search utility off,
but I can't find it. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in
advance.

Thanks a lot for the help, but you'll have to break it
down for me. I'm not a hrdcore computer user. Treat me
as if I was really slow and tell me what I need to do.

Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32

It's pretty clear - did you read the instructions on that site?

Usage: Download folder_open.vbs and save this file to your hard drive.
Navigate to where you saved it and double click the file. A confirmation
dialog will appear when finished.
