Search engine

I am using Windows 98SE with the IE6. Up until a few days ago, I could type
in a keyword in the address bar and it would display a page with all
matching websites. Now when I type a keyword, I am automatically take to a
search engine called AllmightySearch or //xml.overture.com, and then i have
to re-enter the keyword using their search engine. Is there a way to get my
default browser back?
