screensavers

Martin Fricke

Can someone please tell me in what folder screensaver programs are generally
installed into in WinXP if there is no folder in the 'Program Files' folder.
I need to uninstall a couple screensaver programs I have previously
installed but there is no provision to do this in the >Control
Panel>Display>Screen Saver tab.

Thanks,

Martin F.

Screensaver files are stored in the C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder
using the .scr file extension. You'll have to enable "Show hidden
files and folders" in "Folder Options" in your Control Panel under
the View tab.

Normally Screensavers are just .scr files in Windows\system32 and you
can just delete (a d-click should load the saver for checking you have
the right one)
